Stainless steel elbows can be divided into 45°, 90°, and 180° according to the different angles. These stainless steel elbows also include other unusual angles such as 60° according to engineering requirements.


Not only that, the stainless steel elbow can also be distinguished according to its connection with the pipe, including direct welding, flange coupling, threaded coupling, socket coupling, etc., among which the more used is the direct welding stainless steel elbow. Although the types of elbows are different, their production technology requirements are the same.


Since most of the pipe fittings are used for welding, the ends of the fittings are used to form a bevel in order to improve the welding quality. A certain angle is left with a certain edge. This requirement is also strict. The edges are thick, and the angles are as much as possible. There are regulations. The surface quality and mechanical properties of the stainless steel elbow are basically the same as those of the pipe. For the convenience of welding, the pipe and the steel of the connected pipe are the same.


There are also packaging requirements for stainless steel elbows, such as exports need to be made of wooden boxes, about 1 cubic meter, the number of elbows in this box should be no more than a ton; for large parts will be a single package, like 24′′ It must be a single package.The other is the stainless steel elbow packaging mark, the mark is to indicate the size, steel number, batch number, manufacturer's trademark and so on.


When installing, the stainless steel elbow can be directly installed on the pipeline according to the connection mode and installed according to the position of use. Under normal circumstances, it can be installed in any location on the pipeline, but it must be sealed to prevent leakage, so as not to affect the normal operation of the pipeline.
