1.Usage and features
The bottom vibrating discharger is widely used for discharging stuff in form of powder similar to wheat flour from the bottom of the bin or silo in flour mill, feed mill chemical industry and pharmaceutics industry. The vibrating motor used as vibration source helps the discharging hopper to vibrate at high frequency

The hopper is home at its center to a conic discharging plate which is used to push the stuff move evenly and slowly out of the outlet and to prevent bridging inside the silo. It's really an ideal discharging equipment at the silo bottom.


2. Main structure and working principle
2.1 The equipment consists chiefly of discharging hopper, plate, hanging rod, rubber sealing ring, clamper, distance tube and vibrating motor.
2.2 The stuff falls from the bottom into the hopper below, the vibrating motor drives the hopper working at high frequency which force the stuff to spread slowly and evenly around the discharging plate before they flow completely out of the hopper, thus improving stability and uniformity of the movement of the stuff as well as avoiding bridging at the same time. 


3. Main technical specification
Motor speed: 1430r/min
Vibration amplitude: 8-3.2mm (adjustable)
Power: 0.37KW
The inner wall of the discharger should be very smooth, where the stuff is to be discharged evenly following the principle of first in and first out.


4. Erection
4.1 The bolt M16, nut and spacer are to be used to fasten the bottom flange. The spacer is to be used to make adjustment till the flange ring remains in the level position then to tighten the nuts.
4.2 The bolt M 24 is to be used to fasten the support of the flange ring at the top end of the rod in order to make the rod suspend.
4.3 It is necessary to lift the hopper complete with discharging plate inside to a certain height with a view of making the hole on the lower support connected with the hopper in alignment with the hole of the hole on the rod end, they will be pinned up by lug with Ø 8mm and length of 510mm.
4.4 The rubber sealer casing the hopper is to be used to case the flange ring and tighten it with fastener.
4.5 It recommends to raise the hopper and use the bolt M24 rather than the lug to tighten it. The hopper will be able to vibrate because the rubber sealer stays in a loose state thank to the hopper already lifted for a distance.
4.6 When erecting the motor the axle must be strictly vertical, the olive-shaped hole on the motor support will be used to adjust the position of the motor which maybe in the top position or in the low position.
It will be better until the motor works smoothly without any jumping.
4.7 The machine should be connected with a screw at the outlet, but the distance between the outlet and the joint of the screw must be more than 70mm, at the connection there should be fitted with flexible joint and a fastener in addition to the gate installed at the inlet of the screw.


5. Operation
The correct use is the key to make most of the equipment. No operation is needed for this machine under normal working conditions, however it still pay attention to the following remarks when operating and commissioning.

5.1 At the moment of stopping feeding and closing the gate it is forbidden to start motor, otherwise the stuff inside will be solidified because of vibration.
5.2 It suggests to adjust the overlapping position of the counterweights at both ends of the vibrating motor in order to change the amplitude and centrifuge force. It is available to make micro-adjustment when the discharging capacity is not enough. The capacity depends on the temperature of the stuff inside the silo, breakage level and permeability. When the micro adjustment doesn't work it recommends to change the distance between the discharging plate and hopper.
5.3 It is necessary to replace the pipe before adjusting of distance between discharging plate and hopper. The capacity depends largely on the distance. Larger distance makes bigger capacity.
When adjusting it is important to remove fully the stuff inside the machine.
5.4 Adjustment of weights of the vibrating motor
5.4.1 Counterweight will be placed at both ends of the motor axle, two counterweights each end. When adjusting it is to loosen the locking not of the counterweights, turn the top to the required position and tighten the nuts. The larger the overlapping area of the two counterweights, the bigger the centrifuge force. The centrifuge becomes the biggest when two counterweights are fully overlapped.
5.4.2 The counterweights are complete with graduation mark.
The positions of the counterweight at the both ends of the motor should be fully identical according to the graduation mark.

6. Maintenance
6.1 The rubber case at the hanging rod support will be aged after a certain period of usage, it is necessary to replace the aged one with new one regularly. The rubber case and steel case are agglomerated. At time of replacing it suggests to take the rubber case and steel case together out of the rod. When assembling it recommends to coat the external surface of the rubber case with soap liquid before pressing the rubber case into the hanging rod.
6.2 The rubber sealer is to be replaced after a period. When replacing the sealer, it recommends to loosen the fastener, then take apart the nut, spacer, and bolt M12 on the rod support. It is advised to insert the lug into the hole in order to move the hopper a little bit, then take the used rubber sealer apart. After place the new one, it suggests to tighten the top and low fasteners, lift the hopper, make the rod hole aligned with the low support hole and finally put on and tighten the fixtures such as bolt M24, nut and spacer.
6.3 Positioning the vibrating motor. The olive-shaped hole on the motor fixing board at bottom is to be used to make adjustment the top and low position of the motor with a view of making the hopper rotate smoothly on the plane. At the time of disassembling it recommends to make marks to facilitate the assembling.
6.4 Every four months it should make routine checking including replacing lubricant with new one, removing impurities inside the machine. Every year it should replace the bearings and make overhauling. For detailed instructions about maintenance of the motor please see the motor instructions.
